PrincipalPhillip Williams AILAPhillip joined Eckford Johnson Partners in 1987 following the successful completion of his degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Sydney. Phillip was made an Associate in 1990 in response to the growing demand in landscape architectural services. In 1995 Phillip became a director of the then newly formed EJE Landscape Architecture. In 2004 Phillip became a director of Verge Landscape Architects (now Terras Landscape Architects).Phillip is responsible for management and coordination of projects as well as undertaking client liaison and marketing. Phillip oversees projects ensuring that the work produced is of a high professional standard demonstrating above-average competency and innovation. This has been evidenced by the practice being able to secure numerous local and state awards for design excellence and construction. Phillip has had experience in design, documentation, public consultation, scenic assessment and heritage conservation. Phillip has a particular interest in the design of urban and public spaces that produce lively and active settings for people to use and enjoy which combine environmental design principles and town art.
